Dole Packaged Foods is seeking a Director of Logistics to lead import logistics, domestic transportation, and carrier partnerships from a hybrid Westlake Village, CA base. You will drive cost efficiency, service reliability, and cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Sales, and Operations.

The role requires 10+ years in logistics leadership, strong financial acumen, and experience with 4PL partnerships and TMS/SAP tools. A strategic, data-driven leader will excel here.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in logistics, transportation, import operations, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading import logistics operations, domestic transportation networks, carrier relationships, and logistics service providers.
• Strong financial acumen with budgets, forecasts, and P&L awareness.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic leadership over import logistics operations from port to distribution network.
• Lead domestic transportation strategy, routing, capacity planning, and performance management.
• Govern carrier relationships and 4PL partnerships; drive service and cost improvements.
• Oversee procurement, contract negotiations, and commercial leadership for carriers and providers.
• Own logistics financial performance, budgeting, forecasts, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Champion continuous improvement and standardization across logistics operations.
• Build and develop a high-performing logistics team with a focus on accountability.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and special projects to support growth and customer service objectives.
