Celerion is seeking a Director of Ligand Binding Assays to lead the Phoenix and Lincoln LBA teams from Tempe, AZ. You will drive scientific excellence, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth across multiple sites while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact bioanalytical solutions.

The role demands extensive experience in ligand binding, large molecule PK, and a strong track record in leadership, audits, and industry collaboration.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or M.Sc. in biochemistry, immunology, pharmacology, analytical sciences, molecular biology, biotechnology or related field with significant industry experience.
• 12+ years in regulated bioanalysis with leadership roles.
• Strong ligand-binding assay knowledge for large molecules.
• Familiarity with FDA/EMA/ICH GLP/GCP expectations.
• Proven track record leading scientific teams and client-facing activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Phoenix LBA organization across sites, ensuring scientific excellence and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee development, validation, transfer, and execution of binding bioanalytical methods.
• Drive quality systems, audit readiness, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with leadership to pursue growth opportunities and client satisfaction.
• Represent the company in industry forums and maintain a high external scientific profile.
