Job description

Director of Lifecycle Marketing and Conversion – Salesforce Marketing Cloud

CreditAssociates, a rapidly growing consumer financial services company in Plano, Texas, seeks an experienced, visionary Director of Lifecycle Marketing and Conversion to lead enterprise digital acquisition, retention, and lifecycle engagement. Reporting to marketing executive leadership, this role will own the strategy and operations of our omnichannel communication architecture across Email, SMS, Display, Paid Social, and Programmatic Video/TV, powered by Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). The Director will define multi-channel growth roadmaps, scale marketing automation infrastructure, optimize conversion funnels, and build a high-performing team focused on maximizing enterprise LTV, conversion velocity, and marketing ROI.

Responsibilities:
Strategic Vision and Omnichannel Leadership
  • Architect and lead enterprise lifecycle and acquisition strategies across Email, SMS, Display, Paid Social, and programmatic media, orchestrating personalized, multi-touch prospect and client journeys.
  • Own the multi-year Salesforce Marketing Cloud roadmap, driving platform architecture, tech-stack integrations, data model maturity, and automation governance to support rapid company scaling.
  • Define and manage channel budgets, vendor relationships, and media allocations to achieve CAC, LTV, conversion, and ROI benchmarks.
Experimentation, Data, and MarTech Architecture
  • Establish an enterprise experimentation framework and rigorous learning agenda, overseeing multivariate testing (MVT), dynamic content strategies, deliverability optimization, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) across touchpoints.
  • Partner with Data Science, Analytics, and Engineering teams to ingest predictive scoring, machine-learning attribution models, and behavioral data into SFMC for advanced segmentation, churn prevention, and next-best-action automation.
  • Design, standardize, and monitor executive reporting dashboards (leveraging Dash or other BI tools) to communicate channel performance, attribution insights, and strategic pipeline growth to C-suite stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Governance and Compliance
  • Serve as the strategic business partner to Legal, Compliance, Product, Sales, and Client Services, establishing robust governance protocols for consumer privacy, CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and financial regulatory standards.
  • Spearhead mobile-first digital product experiences, coordinating with Creative and Product teams to ensure responsive architecture, accessibility, inbox placement, and frictionless customer enrollment pathways.
  • Oversee agency, vendor, and platform partnerships, holding third-party teams accountable to high delivery standards, contractual SLAs, and efficient cost structures.
Team Leadership and Organizational Culture
  • Build, mentor, and influence a high-performing digital marketing organization, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and accountability.
  • Establish standard operating procedures, documentation, and scalable playbooks for journey orchestration, campaign QA, and deliverability monitoring across the department.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive leadership in performance marketing, lifecycle marketing, and digital acquisition, with demonstrated expertise in consumer financial services, fintech, or similarly regulated, high-volume consumer industries.
  • Platform Mastery: 8+ years of hands‑on and architectural leadership within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, MobileConnect, Contact Builder/Data Extensions, AMPscript, and integrations with core CRMs and CDPs.
  • Strategic & Analytical Acumen: Proven track record designing multi-channel A/B and multivariate testing programs, full-funnel CRO, multi-touch attribution modeling, and customer segmentation strategies.
  • Data & BI Proficiency: Advanced command of data‑driven storytelling and business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Domo) alongside web analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
  • Leadership & Influence: Demonstrated ability to manage, develop, and scale marketing talent, with executive presence and proven influence across C-level executives, technical teams, and cross‑functional partners.
