Job summary

SPX Technologies’ HVAC Segment is seeking a Director of Operational Excellence to lead the strategy that drives safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth. You will partner with site leaders across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and finance to standardize processes and boost end-to-end performance.

The role requires 10+ years in manufacturing leadership and 5+ years in CI/Lean transformations, with strong project management and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing or operational leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading Operational Excellence, CI, Lean, or business transformation.
• Proven success driving measurable operational improvements across multiple sites or business units.
• Experience leading large-scale change management and transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven knowledge of process improvement methodologies, including CI practices, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and effectively implement changes
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-function teams at all levels (production to management) and present data and recommendations verbally and in written form to management

Responsibilities

• Partner with site leadership teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
• Lead Lean transformation, Kaizen, and cross-functional improvement events.
• Develop and implement a multi-year Operational Excellence roadmap aligned with growth and profitability.
• Establish operational excellence standards, governance, and cross-site frameworks.
• Coach and mentor site leaders and improvement practitioners.
• Establish and monitor KPIs and executive scorecards to track progress.
