Job summary

PC Construction, employee-owned and one of the nation’s leading construction organizations, seeks a Director of Lean Construction to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Lean practices across regions and projects. You will partner with project teams and stakeholders to reduce waste, improve collaboration, and enhance outcomes while nurturing a culture of innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of construction industry experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Lean Construction Institute Certifications (LCI-CPC) - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement enterprise-wide Lean construction strategies, standards, and best practices.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, quality, safety, and project delivery performance.
• Facilitate Lean programs, including Kaizen events, value stream mapping, pull planning, and problem-solving workshops.
• Partner with project teams to identify process inefficiencies, eliminate waste, and improve workflow effectiveness.
• Support project planning and execution to ensure safe, on-time, on-budget delivery with exceptional quality.
• Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to project teams and emerging Lean champions.
• Conduct project site visits to assess opportunities and guide implementation efforts.
• Collaborate with clients, trade partners, and internal stakeholders to promote Lean principles and drive outcomes.
• Measure, monitor, and report on Lean performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay current on industry trends, emerging Lean practices, and construction innovation opportunities.
