Job summary

Waste Eliminator & Liberty Waste Solutions seeks a hands-on Director of IT to own technology for two Southeast operators, including infrastructure, cybersecurity, and core business systems such as NetSuite, Soft-Pak, Fleetio, HubSpot, and ADP. You will lead two IT staff, manage budgets, and partner with finance and ops to align IT with acquisition growth.

This on-site, multi-location role requires travel across the Southeast and a pragmatic leader who can roll up sleeves while setting direction

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• 7+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years leading IT teams.
• Hands-on experience across infrastructure, networking, cloud, endpoint management, and cybersecurity.
• Experience owning ERP/CRM or similar business applications with stakeholders.
• Experience managing vendors, contracts, and budgets.
• Ability to travel regularly within the Southeast.

Responsibilities

• Own the technology strategy for two companies, including acquisitions.
• Lead IT integration playbooks for network, identity, endpoints, security, and migrations.
• Oversee infrastructure, security, and business systems across locations.
• Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and IT project delivery.
