Job summary

The Montessori School of Raleigh & Carolina Preparatory Academy is seeking a Director of Information Technology to lead technology strategy and operations for both campuses.

Reporting to the Chief Financial and Operations Officer and as a member of the Operations Team, the Director will oversee systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data management, and technology services that support academics and administration.

Qualifications

• Experience leading IT in independent or private school environments.
• Strong budget planning and vendor management skills.
• Collaborative leadership with ability to balance strategic and operational priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a multi-year technology strategy aligned with pedagogy.
• Establish governance for data management, cybersecurity, and digital safety.
• Lead and mentor the technology team and supervise key staff.
• Oversee technology budget, procurement, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure secure, reliable IT infrastructure across two campuses.
