Job summary

Venture Global LNG is seeking a Director of IT Controls and Compliance in Arlington to oversee IT risk, controls and compliance activities, document and test ITGCs/ITACs, and support internal and external audits. This role partners with business and IT teams to identify control gaps, manage remediation, and assist with system implementations.

The position requires 7+ years in IT audit/risk, a relevant certification (CPA, CISA, etc.), 3+ years of leadership, and experience with ERP systems (SAP).

Qualifications

• Oversee IT risk, controls and compliance activities including documenting and testing ITGCs, ITACs, interfaces.
• Partner with business and IT teams to identify control gaps and remediation efforts.
• Assist with internal and external audits and SOC 1 evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and participate in walkthroughs of significant business and IT processes/applications with accurate controls documentation.
• Create risk control matrices, narratives and flowcharts; test ITGCs/ITACs and interfaces.
• Follow‑up on remediation activities and verify resolution.
• Support system implementations with future state controls design and pre‑go‑live validation.
• Improve IT risk and control environment by streamlining compliance processes without increasing risk.
• Prioritize control projects based on risk severity and non‑compliance; assist internal auditors.
