Summary

As Director of Investor Relations , you'll sit at the intersection of investment management, product development, and business development. You'll serve as the trusted voice behind Potomac's tax-loss harvesting, direct indexing, and hedge fund strategies—presenting to advisors, consultants, family offices, and institutional allocators, and helping turn sophisticated research into relationships. This is a full-time, on-site position in Bethesda, MD.

What You'll Do

• Serve as a subject matter expert for Potomac's tax-loss harvesting, direct indexing, and hedge fund strategies.
• Participate in meetings with advisors, consultants, family offices, institutional investors, and due diligence teams.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in one or more of: Portfolio Management, Investment Research, Investor Relations, Institutional Sales, Investment Consulting, or Wealth/Asset Management.
• Strong presentation skills and executive presence.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, portfolio construction, and risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct investment research and evaluate investment strategies.
• Experience presenting to investment committees, boards, consultants, allocators, or due diligence teams.
• Experience using AI tools to improve research and productivity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with tax-loss harvesting, direct indexing, factor investing, momentum, trend following, tactical asset allocation, or alternative investments.
• Experience within an RIA, asset manager, hedge fund, family office, or institutional consulting firm.
• Published research, market commentary, conference presentations, or other evidence of thought leadership.
