Aegon is seeking an Investment Accounting & Reporting leader to drive the accounting framework, investment strategy, and reporting to company leadership. This role shapes the mission and vision for investment accounting and reporting at the company.

You will own one version of the truth for investment results, coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners, manage SOX controls, and lead multiple teams across related functions in a hybrid in-office setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience.
• 12+ years in accounting/finance with 8+ years in management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with investments, premiums, corporate finance.

• Deliver investment results and analyses to leadership clearly.
• Align with stakeholders and partners to improve insights.
• Own 'one version of the truth' for investment results reporting.
• Lead multiple teams and projects within the department.
• Direct major change initiatives within timelines and budget.
• SOX process owner; manage controls for accuracy.
• Oversee treatment of reporting errors and deficiencies.
• Oversee SOW contract language with external vendors.
• Resource prioritization and performance assessment guidance.
• End-to-end investment asset budget cycle ownership.
