Position: Director of Information Technology

Location: Midland

Salary: $100,000 per year. Sign-on bonus may be available.

Schedule: M-F 8am - 5pm; may require a flexible work schedule; assigned work hours may change as needed.

Travel: Yes, travel required.

Position Summary: The Director of Information Technology empowers PermiaCare staff by providing technology, reports, training, and support. Supervises the IT team and manages major IT initiatives, including policy creation and project management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• At least 4 years of software development and report writing experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in IT within a healthcare organization.
• Proficiency in SQL query development and debugging.
• Valid Texas Driver's license, auto insurance, acceptable driving record, and background checks.

Responsibilities:

• Create custom reports and screens in the EHR system.
• Provide technical support and resolve problems for clinical and billing staff.
• Supervise IT staff and manage projects.
• Develop and maintain databases and applications.
• Develop IT policies and procedures.
• Assist with setting IT priorities, budgets, and goals.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and other regulations.
• Ensure regular attendance and professionalism.
• Coordinate with HR on employee management.
• Participate in community and state-level meetings as needed.

Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of SQL Server, IT best practices, HIPAA, and confidentiality.
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
