Starting Pay - $65.12 to $97.68 (based on experience)

Offers for external candidates are generally made between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on experience.

ROLE-SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• Participate in strategic and operational governance processes of the business organization
• Lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives, standardizing business applications, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT systems across the organization
• Assess and communicate risks associated with IT investments
• Develop and communicate technology plan to executive team, staff, partners, and customers for major application implementation or infrastructure migrations
• Approve, prioritize, and control projects and the project portfolio as they relate to the selection, acquisition, development, and installation of major information systems
• Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for IT spending and initiatives
• Review hardware and software acquisition and maintenance contracts and pursue master agreements to capitalize on economies of scales. Act as the focal point for negotiation of significant IT contracts for hardware and software vendors
• Direct the development and execution of an enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plan
• Experience in strategic planning and execution
• Proven experience in IT planning, organization, and development
• Considerable knowledge of business theory, business processes, management, budgeting, and business office operations
• Excellent understanding of project management principles
• Demonstrate leadership in project governance and adherence to key IT project management disciplines to maintain project timeliness and budget integrity

• Work with IT staff to develop and implement procedures for the efficient, secure exchange of data between technically diverse systems
• Oversee the implementation and management of new information systems and the upgrading of and integration of existing information systems
• Evaluate policies and procedures for collecting, retrieving, storing, and securing of data and recommend changes where appropriate
• Implement systems which collect and evaluate data and provide productivity and enterprise performance
• Develop and execute IT strategic plan
• Develop IT budget and department plans
• Enable the consistent and smooth execution of all technology-related processes
• Provide leadership for planning the IT department’s future technological needs and strategies as an integral element of the company’s strategic initiatives
• Provide information technology leadership and management to the company for accomplishing its mission and goals
• Develop and manage the information technology department’s operating budget and associated capital budgets in consultation with the CIO
• Maintain, audit, and continuously improve security management for the IT computer systems and network including software, hardware, and telecommunications, disaster recovery, planning, and testing
• Oversee network, telecom, and operations IT managers
