The Director of IT Operations is a senior IT leader responsible for the integrated delivery, quality, and operational performance of the organization’s technology solutions. Operating within the Information Technology organization, this role serves as the executive owner of end‑to‑end IT delivery—from solution development and validation through deployment and ongoing operational reliability & support. This role provides strategic leadership and operational oversight across Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure & Operations, and End User Engineering & Support. This role ensures these functions operate as a cohesive system, aligning priorities, standards, and execution models to deliver secure, high‑quality, and reliable technology solutions that meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide integrated leadership across software development, platform engineering, and infrastructure & operations, and end user engineering & services to ensure seamless end‑to‑end IT delivery & on‑going support.
• Own delivery outcomes across the technology portfolio, ensuring solutions are developed, tested, deployed, and operated in a reliable, secure, and scalable manner.
• Set and enforce cross‑domain delivery and operational standards, ensuring consistency in engineering practices, quality controls, and service management disciplines.
• Partner with Quality Assurance, Enterprise Architecture, PMO, and Cybersecurity leadership to ensure alignment with adjacent technology functions in the execution and delivery of IT solutions and services.
• Oversee release readiness and production stability by ensuring effective coordination between development, platform, testing, and operations teams.
• Establish and monitor delivery, quality, and operational performance metrics; proactively identify risks and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure strong financial discipline across delivery and operations, including investment prioritization, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
• Lead and develop senior technology leaders, fostering collaboration, accountability, and shared ownership for delivery outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement across IT delivery and operations, including adoption of modern platform engineering, automation, DevOps, and service management practices.
