Job summary

Jobot, headquartered in Atlanta, seeks an IT leader to oversee technology operations and security for a growing mortgage lender. You will craft policies, align IT with business strategy, and guide departments in technology investments.

The role requires 2+ years in IT management within mortgage space, strong GLBA/FTC knowledge, and certifications (SC-300, Azure, CISSP, CISM, ITIL). Excellent leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in IT management, preferably in mortgage industry.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure AD, LOS, MeridianLink, and mortgage systems.
• Strong understanding of GLBA and FTC Safeguards Rule.
• Certifications in Microsoft SC-300, Azure, CISSP, CISM, and ITIL required.
• Exceptional leadership with ability to inspire staff and align with business strategy.
• Excellent interpersonal and cross-level communication skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks with strategic focus.
• Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills.
• Excellent project management from conception to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all technology operations (e.g. network security) and evaluate them against goals.
• Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support strategic plans.
• Analyze business requirements across departments to determine tech needs.
• Identify upgrades, configurations, or new systems and report to upper management.
• Coordinate IT managers and supervise computer scientists, technicians, and other professionals.
• Control budget and report on expenditure.
• Assist in vendor relationships and cost-efficient contracts.
• Ensure GLBA and FTC Safeguards Rule compliance.
• Develop and implement disaster and emergency recovery plans.

Responsibilities

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks, with a strong focus on strategic objectives.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop appropriate solutions.
• Strong project management skills, with experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from conception through implementation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
