Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, information security, or related field.
• 8+ years in cybersecurity with emphasis on security operations and engineering.
• 5+ years in a security leadership role.
• Willingness to commute to office 3-4 days per week.
• Deep expertise with SIEM, EDR/NGAV, SOAR, firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP, and cloud security.
• Familiarity with Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Certs such as CISSP, CISM desirable.
• Experience in global professional services or law firm environment desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements a comprehensive security strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Establishes relationships across departments to foster a security-aware culture.
• Manages a dedicated security team and promotes high performance.
• Evaluates, designs, and implements security solutions and controls.
• Collaborates with IT to assess risks and develop security requirements.
• Oversees day-to-day security operations, monitoring, and incident response.
• Leads security incident response protocols including investigations and containment.
• Develops and maintains incident response plans and coordinates with stakeholders.
• Manages relationships with third-party vendors and security partners.
• Develops KPIs to measure detection, response, and engineering effectiveness.
• Identifies emerging threats and coordinates mitigations with stakeholders.
• Drives continuous improvement through purple teaming and lessons learned.
