Job summary

Workday is seeking a Director, Incentive Compensation Operations to lead a global team responsible for accurate, timely, and compliant incentive payouts across GTM functions. You will collaborate with GTM, Sales, Finance, and Legal, drive process improvements, and adopt AI-enabled enhancements to scale operations.

The role requires extensive experience in variable compensation, enterprise systems, and managing a distributed team, with a focus on SOX controls and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in variable compensation/operations or related experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in high tech industry.
• Minimum of 5 years managing people.
• Experience running and implementing enterprise-level Incentive Compensation Management systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or other Business-related field.
• Xactly commission system experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end implementation of compensation plans in system tools.
• Own annual participant set-up and audits for accuracy and compliance.
• Drive automation to remove manual workflows and enable self-service.
• Oversee accurate commission calculations and payout submissions to payroll.
• Conduct audits on upstream data and monthly payments for accuracy; resolve issues.
• Define technology strategy for compensation tools and systems.
• Lead ticketing and help desk processes with defined SLAs.
• Develop automated dashboards and provide insights on plan effectiveness.
