Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Director of HR to join our team. This leadership role drives corporate HR initiatives and partners with management on organization structure, succession planning, and employee development.

You will advise on HR policies, benefits, and compensation programs, and lead a culture that values integrity, teamwork, and accountability across our beverage distribution network. Travel 10-20% is expected; a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of HR generalist experience are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, or related field.
• At least 5 years HR generalist experience.
• Food & Beverage industry experience and DSD experience desired.
• PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Considerable knowledge of HR administration principles and practices.
• Able to work as a team member, handle stress, and manage multiple priorities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel 10–20%.

We also create our own beverages, producing and distributing them to our customers’ warehouses nationally. And we make, sell, and distribute to our customers’ warehouses a growing portfolio of beverages nationally. These beverages make up a small, but growing part of our business.

Director of HR Role Overview

This job exists to ensure Corporate HR initiatives are driven to support the overall business strategy.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Provides advice and counsel to management on HR issues.
• Provides interpretation of policies & procedures to management and employees.
• Handles various employee relations issues.
• Provides administration and education on PBV benefits and compensation programs.
• Partners with management on organization structure, succession planning and employee development.
• Conducts new hire orientation and training and development needs assessment for employees.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field and at least 5 years HR generalist experience.
• Food and Beverage industry experience and DSD experience desired. PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of HR administration.
• Able to work as a team member, work well under stress, and handle multiple priorities.
• Must be able to establish and maintain effective relationships with all management staff, employees, and the general public.
• Must be able to present facts and recommendations in oral and written form.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be able to travel 10-20% of the time.
• Must be able to work hours necessary to complete required tasks.
