Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop job descriptions and orientation checklists for housekeeping and laundry staffs.
• Update personnel policies pertaining to the housekeeping and laundry staffs.
• Recruit, interview, and verify references to employ staff.
• Decide staffing needs and organize the housekeeping and laundry departments.
• Supervise scheduling to ensure uninterrupted service to residents.
• Oversee staff orientation, training, and in-service sessions.
• Schedule and direct housekeeping and laundry staff through training.
• Manage purchasing and inventory of all housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry supplies.
• Maintain linen inventory to provide a continuous supply to staff and residents.
