Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years security experience or Associate's degree with 7 years with progressive leadership experience.
• SLED certified or certification within 6 months of hire including Qualification Armed portion at a shooting range.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall leadership for the Security department including setting priorities, day to day responsibilities, and issue resolution.
• Interviews, hires, trains and manages security team; provides mentoring and coaching.
• Develop, review, revise policies, systems, and procedures to ensure up to date security plan for the organization.
• Participates in investigations, documents incidents and recommends mitigation strategies.
• Collaborates with local, state and national agencies related to hospital security investigations.
• Escalates safety concerns to leadership and mitigates risk.
