Long Beach Healthcare Center is seeking a Health Information Director to oversee initiation, maintenance, and filing of resident records, ensuring access to Protected Health Information within the charts.

Formación

• 2-4 years' previous experience in medical records preferred; knowledge of ICD coding and supervisory experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Must have knowledge of medical terminology

POSITION SUMMARY

The Health Information Designee has responsibility for the initiation, maintenance and filing of resident records in the facility. Record Designee has access to all Protected Health Information in the resident's charts.
