Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive engineering experience developing complex electromechanical products.
• 5+ years leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience leading products through production at scale.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical/robotics or related engineering discipline.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a small team (4-5 direct reports) of hardware engineers.
• Promote engineering best practices, design reviews, and technical excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional product team including program management, software leadership and QA.
• Lead design verification, validation, qualification, and product release activities.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and product safety certifications.
• Ensure seamless integration between hardware, software, controls, and robotics systems.
• Establish development and execution schedules, resource plans, and milestones.
• Identify technical risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Drive predictable execution balancing scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure DFM and DFA standards are met.
• Support manufacturing scale-up and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead engineering support for production issues and field reliability improvements.
