Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive engineering experience developing complex electromechanical products.
• 5+ years leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Proven experience leading products through production at scale.
• Experience with manufacturing partners and supply chains.
• Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a small team of hardware engineers.
• Promote engineering best practices, design reviews, and technical excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including program management, software leadership and QA.
• Lead design verification, validation, qualification, and product release activities.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety certifications.
• Ensure seamless integration between hardware, software, controls, and robotics systems.
• Establish development schedules, resource plans, and milestones.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies; balance scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to meet DFM and DFA standards.
• Support manufacturing scale-up and field reliability improvements.
