About the Role

We are looking for a Director of Growth, Social Media and Video to develop a social and short-form video strategy that drives discovery, builds our community, and supports strategic initiatives. The role requires a creative and analytical approach to content creation and distribution, with a focus on driving action. The position reports to the Chief Growth Officer.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and evolve our social strategy using platform-specific formats to increase discovery, retention, and engagement.
  • Create and maintain the brand voice on social media.
  • Partner with content, production, and marketing teams to create original content from ideation to execution, utilizing storytelling, formatting, and platform features.
  • Collaborate with the production team to adapt long-form content into engaging short-form videos to promote full episodes.
  • Manage a team of content creators and coordinators.
  • Define and track KPIs, using data to optimize content and engagement strategies.
  • Establish a cohesive social presence across platforms.
  • Plan and execute social campaigns within budget, aligning efforts across teams.
  • Work with marketing to develop assets for advertising and partnerships.
  • Provide regular performance reports and insights to inform creative decisions.
  • Monitor and analyze content and campaign effectiveness to maximize impact.
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in social media, video, or content creation.
  • Proven track record of growing audiences for brands or creators.
  • Strategic vision and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Strong understanding of emerging trends, platform algorithms, and content strategies.
  • Excellent copywriting skills that engage audiences and encourage action.
  • Experience managing teams, vendors, and budgets.
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to adjust strategies based on analytics.
