Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in executive leadership, nonprofit administration, or academia.
• Experience coordinating fundraising, grants, and donor relations.
• Experience overseeing research/fellowship programs and language initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of the institute in collaboration with Türkiye center directors, the President, and Board members.
• Serve as chief executive director for the institute’s US operations.
• Administer the US research fellowship program.
• Administer Turkish language programs.
• Support doctoral and post-doctoral research activities.
• Maintain fellow records and data on fellowship outcomes.
• Manage grants and donations.
• Oversee nonprofit operations and compliance.
• Support lectures, conferences, and seminars open to scholars and the public.
• Assist with maintaining local research libraries and staff.
