Job summary

Palm Beach State College, Lake Worth Campus, seeks a Program Director, Education Abroad to oversee global learning initiatives and international partnerships. You will design programs, lead study abroad opportunities, and ensure compliant, high-impact experiences for students and faculty.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and four years of related experience; a Master’s degree is preferred. Travel domestically and internationally may be required; PBSC supports remote/hybrid opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; four years of related experience.
• Masters degree preferred for higher qualification.
• Logistics and risk management for education abroad programs knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee global learning and education abroad programs, including faculty-led trips and exchanges.
• Provide guidance to students interested in education abroad and support during international experiences.
• Conduct pre-departure orientations and workshops for study abroad participants.
• Monitor travel advisories and international developments to assess risks.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and accreditation standards in international education.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate global perspectives into curricula.
• Promote education abroad opportunities through presentations and materials.
• Collect and analyze data on learning outcomes, program impact, and participant satisfaction.
