NOTE: We are currently focusing our search on candidates who live within 30 miles of Sulphur Springs, Texas. This position is not eligible for remote work or relocation consideration.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma (or equivalency) and knowledge of specialized principles that would be obtained through a formal four (4) year academic program and a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a financial institution financial-institution experience and five or more years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of fraud operations, physical security, business continuity, banking regulations, and Regulation E.
• Proven leadership, project-management, analytical, communication, training, and customer-service skills.

• Prior experience managing a fraud department is preferred.
• Ability to operate basic office equipment, including a PC with job-related software.

• Develop and strengthen fraud detection, transaction monitoring, prevention, and loss-recovery strategies across digital and payment channels.
• Oversee fraud alerts, investigations, debit card disputes, check fraud, suspicious-activity reporting, and coordination with law enforcement.
• Manage physical security policies, branch security equipment, employee access, incident response, robbery support, and employee training.
• Administer key fraud and online-banking systems and monitor configurations, controls, groups, limits, and access.
• Coordinate business continuity, emergency preparedness, disaster recovery, physical recovery, and testing activities.
• Lead and develop employees, manage departmental staffing and coverage, and oversee budgets, vendors, projects, and policies.
• Partner with Operations, Risk, Compliance, customers, and external agencies while protecting confidential information.
• Employee may be issued bank-owned devices (such as cell phones, tablets, and/or laptops). In such cases, the employee is expected to regularly check and respond to phone calls, text messages, and/or emails.
• Participate in community affairs to increase Alliance Bank’s visibility and to enhance new business opportunities.
• Keep updated on all laws and regulations and Alliance Bank policies and procedures pertaining to this position.
