The Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the food and beverage department in accordance with OVG policies and objectives to ensure guest satisfaction, profitability, and a positive, productive, and compliant work environment. The Director manages concessions, retail, and purchasing teams at the Wintrust Arena, including event planning support, scheduling, food preparation and production, food cost control, compliance with food safety and sanitation policies, cleaning, kitchen safety, employee training, and supervision. The role requires providing oversight, culinary proficiency, and operational support to ensure the smooth running of all food outlets and events.
The Director ensures the delivery of quality food and beverage services to guests, oversees staff training across kitchens, catering, concessions, and support staff, and maintains excellent attendance. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required, along with professional presentation, outstanding interpersonal skills, and self-direction.
This role offers an annual salary of $80,000-$100,000.
Full-Time roles include: Health, Dental, and Vision insurance, 401(k) savings plan, 401(k) matching, and paid time off (vacation, sick days, and holidays).
