Job Overview

Plan and manage the Human Resources and operations of the Food and Beverage departments to achieve customer satisfaction and quality service while meeting financial goals. The role involves short and long-term planning and management of Food & Beverage operations in both front and back of house, including catering, kitchen, restaurant(s), room service, and lounge(s). The position also involves participation in total hotel management as a member of the Hotel Executive Committee.

Responsibilities
  • Manage human resources within the division, including recruitment, training, coaching, performance reviews, conflict resolution, discipline, and termination as appropriate.
  • Develop, recommend, and manage the division's budget, marketing plans, forecasts, and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all company programs, safety, and sanitary regulations, as well as federal, state, and local laws.
  • Market the Food and Beverage outlets through menu development, promotions, displays, and presentations to increase guest engagement and meet financial targets.
  • Oversee maintenance and sanitation of food and beverage areas and equipment to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Resolve customer complaints to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Qualifications
  • Education: A four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Four to five years in a related role.
  • Knowledge/Skills: Advanced knowledge of food & beverage/hospitality principles, management skills, complex problem-solving, excellent communication, and administrative skills.
