We are seeking a Director of Financial Reporting & Analysis for our Finance department that will support the Shingles, Underlayments & Ventilation and Web Technologies divisions, in the Atlanta, GA corporate office.

This position will lead, develop and manage the preparation, analysis and delivery of timely and accurate financial reports, forecasts, and performance insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in GAAP accounting, financial reporting and analysis.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze financial performance and trends, comparing actual results against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
• Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts, collaborating with department leaders to ensure accuracy and alignment with company goals.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide commentary to explain key drivers.
• Support external audit and compliance processes by providing required documentation and analysis.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario planning, business cases, and strategic initiatives.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial reporting processes, tools, and systems.
• Partner with accounting, operations, and business units to gather data and ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Stay informed of industry trends, accounting standards, and financial best practices.
• Assist with modeling and analysis of significant accounting estimates.
• Oversee the capital reporting process and software.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, processes and tools.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team of analysts and finance professionals.
  
  

Experience

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in management role.
• 2–5 years of experience in financial reporting, financial analysis, or FP&A.
• Industry experience in manufacturing is desirable
• Preferred public accounting background (Big 4 or large regional firm) is a plus.
  
  

Education, Licenses & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (master’s preferred).
• CPA certification is a plus.
  
  

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, GAAP, and corporate finance principles.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated success in driving process improvements and automation.
