This administrator will oversee processing, compliance, reporting, and technology initiatives in collaboration with IT and other campus departments.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive knowledge of Title IV programs, and experience implementing and testing financial aid systems.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree required.
• Five (5) years of progressive administrative experience in a financial aid office, including supervision of staff.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural, diverse environment and support a diverse student body.
• Experience administering financial aid through computerized student information and financial aid systems, preferably Ellucian Colleague.
• Experience with system implementations, integrations, testing, data validation, and conversions.
• Knowledge of Title IV federal student aid programs, FAFSA, verification, SAP, and NJ state programs.
• Ability to translate regulatory/operational requirements into system processes and specifications.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.

• Directly supervise Financial Aid administrators and support staff; manage day-to-day operations and staffing.
• Develop strategies to improve accessibility, timeliness, and clarity of financial aid services.
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement policies to ensure compliance.
• Oversee administration of federal, state, and institutional aid programs including grants and disbursements.
• Lead financial aid technology initiatives, integrations, testing, data validation, and system optimization.
• Coordinate fraud prevention measures and use verification technologies.
• Prepare and reconcile required federal/state reports.
• Maintain data integrity and collaborate with Finance, IT, Registrar, and other departments.
• Respond to audits and regulatory inquiries and implement corrective actions.
• Stay current on regulatory changes and opportunities to improve processes and student experience.
