Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple aspects of financial planning processes across the company, including annual budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and scenario modeling.

  • Partner cross-functionally to build and maintain financial models that drive strategic decision making. This includes staffing models, ROI analyses, and modeling around strategic initiatives or new lines of business.

  • Create and own financial reporting frameworks, dashboards, and KPIs to track performance and improve forecasting accuracy.

  • Leverage Equip’s internal data platform to build dashboards and reporting that enable more automated financial reporting and forecast updates.

  • Partner with the Finance Manager to maintain our internal financial planning and reporting tool.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in a startup or high-growth environment.

  • Deep financial modeling expertise with demonstrated ability to build from a blank Excel sheet.

  • Highly analytical, structured thinker with strong business acumen and attention to detail.

  • Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership, and is capable of building scalable systems from the ground up.

  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and effectively collaborate cross-functionally.

  • Experience with Vena, NetSuite, and/or Mode are a plus.

Time Off:

  • Flex PTO (3-5 wks/year recommended) + 11 paid company holidays.

  • Generous parental leave.

Core Benefits:

  • Competitive Medical, Dental, and Vision plans with generous employer contributions for both individuals and families.

  • Company-paid Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Life and AD&D insurance.

  • Company-paid partnership with Maven Clinic to provide comprehensive reproductive and family care resources.

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP), a company-paid resource for mental health, legal services, financial support, and more!

  • 401(k) retirement plan.
