Job summary

Lovelace Health System in Roswell, NM is seeking a Director of Finance to lead the hospital's financial operations and strategic financial planning. The role collaborates with executive leadership to optimize performance and ensure sound governance across accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting, 5+ years of healthcare finance leadership, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Excel and

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 5+ years of progressive management experience in healthcare finance, accounting, or audit.
• Demonstrable problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical skills, and strategic and critical thinking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing presentations for senior leaders.
• Expert-level knowledge and aptitude in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
• CPA (preferred)
• GAAP/internal accounting controls experience; patient care regulations experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

The Finance Director is a strategic and tactical management position responsible for serving administrative leadership and is involved in most aspects of operations, primarily financial performance.

Qualifications

Job Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 5+ years of experience of progressive management experience in healthcare finance, accounting, or audit.
