Job summary

Stelvio Inc. is seeking an experienced Director of Finance to lead the financial operations of a growing, project-based infrastructure and technology business in Austin, TX.

This senior role reports to the Vice President of Finance and drives reporting, controllership, budgeting, forecasting and project-finance activities. You will oversee working capital, contract revenue recognition, tax and compliance while integrating an acquired business and transitioning its finance operations from the

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
• Leadership of a controllership or business-unit finance function.
• Strong project accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting experience.
• Experience with contract revenue recognition and working-capital management.
• Strong commercial judgement and experience supporting bids and pricing.
• Experience leading and developing finance professionals.
• Relevant university degree.
• CPA, CA, CMA or equivalent qualification strongly preferred; post-acquisition integration and IFRS/US GAAP knowledge advantageous.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Director of Finance to lead the financial operations of a growing, project-based infrastructure and technology business.

Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, you will oversee financial reporting, controllership, budgeting, forecasting, project finance, working capital and compliance. You will also play a key role in integrating a recently acquired business and transitioning its financial operations away from the seller’s systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial close and reporting.

A CPA, CA, CMA or equivalent qualification is strongly preferred. Experience with post-acquisition integration, Transition Services Agreements, IFRS, US GAAP or outsourced finance teams would be highly advantageous.
