Job summary

Ciminelli is seeking a Director of Field Operations to lead field maintenance and project delivery across our regional properties. You will drive profitability, efficiency, and client satisfaction while ensuring top-tier safety and service standards.

Reporting to the Senior VP of Operations, you will participate in the leadership team, set KPIs, and guide the Field Operations department to meet strategic goals and high performance across both commercial and residential portfolios.

Qualifications

Description

The Director of Field Operations is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction to the field maintenance and project delivery teams within the Property Management department of a mid-sized, family-owned Real Estate business with a regional service footprint. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Operations the Director will serve as a member of the Property Management Leadership Team.

Position responsibilities:

• Provide oversight and leadership for all maintenance and project delivery services, including preventative and reactive maintenance to Commercial and Residential properties, Bank Equipment servicing, special pr ojects and property improvement projects across a regional footprint.
• Assume ownership of Field Operations results by developing and executing strategies that drive profitability, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction while maintaining exceptional service standards and team performance.
• As a member of the Property Management Leadership Team, own results for entire department and engage freely and collaboratively to solve for the greater good.
• Work with Senior Vice President, Operations and Property Management Leadership Team to establish goals and KPIs for Field Operations department. Communicate goals and inspire team members to work collaboratively to achieve departmental and individual goals.
• Work with Property Management leaders to understand standards for service delivery and drive accountability to customer expectations.
• Communicate clearly and often, bridging gaps between field teams and other areas of the business by promoting collaboration and partnership throughout the company.
• Lead and develop Maintenance Supervisory team and Project Delivery team to ensure future success and succession planning in key areas.
• Oversee management of vehicle fleet to ensure appropriate resources are allocated to Field Operations team, escalating issues as-needed.
• Create and maintain systems to ensure consistent application of policies and practices across service footprint.
• Demonstrate unwavering commitment to safety by providing support to Safety Committee members and holding all members of the field to high safety standards.
• Embrace Ciminelli’s commitment to EOS operating model, ensuring adoption of best practices throughout Field Operations department.
• Working knowledge of functional areas, including building maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility systems.
• Identify areas of improvement and opportunities to streamline operations to ensure profitability while maintaining high performance and safety standards.
