Job summary

Infinity Healthcare Consulting is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance department, ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable facility operations in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.

You will supervise staff, schedule preventive maintenance, manage outside vendors, and coordinate with administrators to meet safety, environmental, and budget requirements while preserving the integrity of the building and equipment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school education or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience in a maintenance-related role.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of boilers, electrical, plumbing, and safety regulations.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Licensure in accordance with current standards and codes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Maintenance Department with proper staffing and scheduling.
• Inspect storage rooms, work rooms, and closets for upkeep and inventory control.
• Participate in facility surveys by government agencies.
• Oversee external contractors and ensure contract/work orders are properly completed.
• Assist in establishing a preventive maintenance program.
• Meet with maintenance staff regularly and solicit cross-department input.
• Identify and document maintenance tasks involving exposure to hazards.
• Conduct daily rounds to ensure proper duties and procedures.
• Maintain fire alarm and other safety systems.
• Carry out carpentry, heating, cooling, electrical, and plumbing tasks within scope.
• Monitor inventory and reorder supplies as needed.
• Coordinate snow and ice removal for sidewalks.
• Be on-call for emergencies as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator.
