Job summary

At Peckham, Inc., the Director of Facilities leads strategic and operational aspects of facilities, grounds, food services, and safety across locations, reporting to the VP of Facilities. The role ensures safe, compliant, sustainable, and cost-effective operations aligned with Peckham’s mission.

The incumbent provides coaching, prioritizes projects, manages budgets, and drives continuous improvement while collaborating with internal teams and external partners to support Peckham’s wellbeing

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of facilities management and operations experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams.
• Experience managing operational budgets, capital projects, and vendors.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and risk management within facilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily operations of the Facilities Department including maintenance, grounds, capital projects, procurement support, safety, and security.
• Provide coaching and professional development to staff.
• Set operational priorities and implement facilities strategies supporting growth, safety, and sustainability.
• Oversee maintenance programs, major repairs, renovations, and capital improvements.
• Plan, budget, and manage facility projects, vendor contracts, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop budgets, business plans, and long-range facility strategies.
