Job summary

Qualifications

• Five+ years in construction, trade, maintenance, or related field.
• Five+ years of leadership experience including supervising teams.
• High school diploma or equivalent; trade/technical training preferred.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Involvement in and commitment to the community preferred.

The Director of Facilities and Maintenance will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing team, advancing preventive maintenance programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maximizing the reliability, and longevity of community assets. Director of Facilities and Maintenance Position Qualifications:

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in construction, trade, maintenance, service-oriented, or related field, required
• Minimum of five (5) years of successful leadership experience, including supervising teams and developing employees
• High school diploma or equivalent, required; Completion of a trade or technical school program and/or continuing education coursework, preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and a variety of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, required
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, as well as working knowledge of applicable building codes and safety regulations, required
• Demonstrated involvement in and commitment to the community, strongly preferred
