Director of Event Planning and Catering Services

This distinguished, iconic resort is seeking an accomplished Director of Event Planning and Catering Services to lead with vision, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. This dynamic leader will oversee the creation of unforgettable events and weddings, ensuring a seamless and luxurious experience for every guest. Base Pay Range

$98,000.00/yr - $112,000.00/yr

Requirements
  • 6+ years of catering sales experience, with a proven track record in high-end, luxury settings
  • Minimum of 2 years in a Director-level leadership role
  • Expertise in negotiation, sales strategy, and contract management
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to represent the resort to top-tier clientele
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of Delphi/FDC software preferred
  • Engaging personality, adept at fostering and maintaining client relationships
  • Full responsibility for event logistics, from initial planning through to post-event analysis
  • Strong creative vision, capable of curating bespoke menus and event programs that set the resort apart from competitors
  • In-depth knowledge of banquet operations, including AV equipment, event scheduling, and menu development
  • Experience managing large-scale events in venues with over 80,000 square feet of meeting space
