Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of Environmental Service to ensure community is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.
• Coordinate environmental services tasks community-wide.
• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc.
• Perform maintenance and repair on community and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.
• Replace burned out light bulbs and perform cleaning duties as necessary.
• Service heating and cooling units/systems.
• Supervise safety and fire prevention programs.
• Ensure building systems are in working order and perform preventative maintenance.
• Schedule work hours, assign duties, and maintain a positive environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years supervisory experience in maintenance/plant-related role.
• Knowledge of boilers, compressors, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
• Knowledge of environmental practices and laws governing environmental functions in healthcare settings.
