Job summary

X-energy is seeking a Director to lead the strategic direction and technical integration across Plant Integration, Plant Support Systems, Physical Plant Integration, and Systems Engineering. You will drive enterprise standards, architecture, and staffing to optimize plant-wide performance and data flow, partnering with senior leadership to establish ERP readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Fifteen+ years of progressive experience in systems integration or related technical field.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in regulated environments.
• Excellent communication skills with executives and regulators.
• Ability to set strategic direction with full authority and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Plant Integration, Plant Support Systems, Physical Plant Integration, and Systems Engineering.
• Set strategic direction for integrating new hardware and software systems across disciplines.
• Partner with executive leadership to define enterprise integration requirements.
• Direct analysis of existing systems and approve integration strategies.
• Establish governance for technical documentation standards across disciplines.
• Oversee development of integration processes, data flows, and interfaces.
• Approve integration testing and validation strategies for enterprise interoperability.
• Serve as primary technical authority for integration matters with leadership and regulators.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring NRC readiness.
• Manage staffing, hiring, and budgeting for the disciplines.
