Job summary

FLOWERS.com Inc. is seeking an accomplished Director of Information Technology Architecture to lead enterprise transformation across a multi-brand organization.

You will set architecture standards, drive portfolio rationalization, influence technology investments, and partner with senior leaders to create a scalable, secure technology ecosystem. The role reports to the SVP, IT Security & Platform Services and requires strong collaboration across business and technology leaders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise/solutions architecture across application, infrastructure, and security disciplines.
• Hands-on experience leading application portfolio rationalization and modernization initiatives.
• Strong hybrid/multi-cloud experience (Azure and/or GCP).
• Working knowledge of security architecture principles and ability to collaborate with cybersecurity teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to influence without formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain enterprise reference architectures across application, integration, data, cloud, infrastructure, and security domains.
• Develop architecture principles, engineering standards, and governance processes for consistency across brands and teams.
• Chair the Architecture Review Board and evaluate key technology initiatives, vendor solutions, and platform investments.
• Manage the enterprise technology roadmap and lifecycle strategy.
• Build and maintain a comprehensive inventory of applications, platforms, and tools.
• Assess application value, fitness, cost, risk, and lifecycle status.
• Identify opportunities for modernization, consolidation, and retirement of redundant systems.
• Develop multi-year modernization and transformation roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
