Job summary

ERock seeks a Director of Enterprise Applications & Integrations to lead strategy, delivery, governance, and support of enterprise applications and data platforms. You will guide teams across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, asset management, and operations to standardize processes, automate workflows, and modernize systems.

You will drive data platform governance, ensure secure, compliant operations, and partner with executives to align technology with business goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years in enterprise systems (ERP/CRM/EPM/asset management) with 5+ years leading technical teams.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and supporting ERP/CRM platforms such as Microsoft D365, IFS, Salesforce, or comparable systems.
  • Strong understanding of system integrations, APIs, middleware, and data exchange patterns.
  • Experience establishing governance for application support, release management, data standards, and audit/compliance (SOX).

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day management and continuous improvement of enterprise business systems including D365, OnePlan, FieldPoint, Planful, Autodesk.
  • Oversee configuration, enhancements, integrations, and production support for reliable and secure operations.
  • Manage enterprise data flows and governance across platforms to ensure data accuracy and continuity.
  • Lead enterprise data platform, data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and downstream reporting.
  • Ensure IT general controls and compliance with auditors and internal finance partners.
  • Partner with functional leads to prioritize initiatives and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Establish standards for support, release management, and change management for adoption.
  • Manage third‑party vendors and implementation partners with SLAs and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with IT infrastructure and security teams to meet cybersecurity and SOX requirements.

Role Overview

The Director of Enterprise Applications & Integrations will be responsible for the strategy, delivery, governance, and support of Enchanted Rock's enterprise applications, integrations, application architecture, and core data platform. The role leads the Enterprise Applications and Data Platform teams, ensuring enterprise technology platforms are reliable, scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Asset Management, Operations & Maintenance, Safety, and other core business functions. As a strategic partner to business leaders, the Director drives process standardization, automation, system modernization, and technology adoption while ensuring enterprise systems provide a stable, governed foundation for business operations and downstream reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the day‑to‑day management, performance, and continuous improvement of Enchanted Rock's enterprise business systems, including Microsoft D365 Business Central, OnePlan, FieldPoint, Planful, Autodesk, and related platforms.
  • Oversee system configuration, enhancements, integrations, and production support to ensure applications operate reliably, securely, and in alignment with business requirements.
  • Manage enterprise integrations and data flows across platforms, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and operational continuity across operations.
  • Lead the enterprise data platform, database administration, data integrations, data governance, master data management, and architecture supporting downstream reporting and analytics.
  • Ensure enterprise applications and data environments meet internal control and audit requirements by partnering with Finance, IT, and external auditors to design, implement, document, and continuously monitor IT general controls and system‑related compliance processes.
  • Partner with functional leaders to gather requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver enterprise application, integration, and data platform solutions that improve efficiency and service levels.
  • Establish and maintain standards for application support, release management, documentation, training, and structured change management to drive successful adoption.
  • Manage third‑party vendors and implementation partners, including licensing, upgrades, support agreements, and performance accountability.
  • Collaborate closely with IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and architecture teams to ensure enterprise applications and data platforms meet company standards for security, SOX compliance, scalability, and reliability.
Basic (Required) Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience implementing, managing, and supporting enterprise business systems (ERP, CRM, EPM, field service, or asset management platforms).
  • Experience supporting enterprise systems in manufacturing, industrial services, or other asset‑intensive operating environments.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and developing technical teams, including application analysts, developers, and data engineers.
  • Hands‑on experience configuring and supporting ERP and CRM platforms such as Microsoft D365, IFS, Salesforce, or comparable systems.
  • Strong understanding of system integrations, APIs, middleware, and enterprise data exchange patterns supporting cross‑platform operations.
  • Experience designing or managing enterprise data environments, including data warehouses, ETL/ELT processes, dimensional modeling, and data quality controls.
  • Proven track record delivering system implementations, upgrades, automation initiatives, and user adoption efforts in operational environments.
  • Experience establishing governance processes for application support, release management, data standards, system controls, and audit/compliance requirements (e.g., SOX).
  • Experience partnering with IT infrastructure and security teams to ensure systems meet cybersecurity, performance, and technical governance standards.
Preferred Experience
  • Direct experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Salesforce ecosystems.
  • Experience with Azure data services (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Fabric) or similar cloud‑based data platforms.
  • Experience integrating financial, operational, and field service systems to establish a unified, reliable, and scalable enterprise application and data ecosystem.
  • Experience leading enterprise data harmonization or master data management initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Planful, OnePlan, FieldPoint, or similar financial planning and field service platforms.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and database administration concepts.

A prioritized enterprise applications roadmap is in place, modernization initiatives are underway, and the team is recognized as a trusted partner that enables operational excellence, scalability, and business growth.
