Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Robotics or CS required.
• 8+ years engineering experience in fast-paced environments with 4+ years in people management.
• Experience leading technical execution for complex hardware-software systems in Robotics/AI/ML.
• Deep fluency in the ML development lifecycle: training, data flywheels, evaluation frameworks.
• Comfortable leading teams across Python, C++, and TypeScript/Node; AWS/Kubernetes; workflow orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Set and drive the technical vision across data collection infra, teleoperation, ML pipelines, model evaluation, annotation tooling, and research.
• Lead a multidisciplinary org including managers, software/ML engineers, and researchers; shape org structure, talent strategy, and culture.
• Ensure technical and operational excellence by reviewing deliverables, identifying gaps early, and stepping in when needed.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Operations, and GTM on platform architecture and releases.
• Collaborate with researchers and clients to architect scalable, production-grade data infrastructure for robotics workloads.
