Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering leadership with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, or electrical engineering.
• 10+ years managing project engineering and cross-functional teams for hazardous material facilities.
• 5+ years developing complex and innovative energy solutions.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 33%.
• Must pass pre-employment background check; Energy Vault participates in E-Verify.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering development of New Energy Systems with focus on hydrogen-based systems (electrolysis, hydrogen storage, fuel cells, generators).
• Drive the New Energy Systems roadmap from concept through demonstration and deployment.
• Define system architecture and criteria; integrate with renewable generation, grid interconnection, and EMS/SCADA.
• Lead stage-gate processes for TRL 4–8 and MRL 4–8 to advance technologies and products.
• Support project development and execution: design, equipment specs, and vendor selection; coordinate with EPC.
