Sony Pictures is seeking a Director of Engineering in Lawton, OK to elevate Docker-based systems from fragile to bulletproof. The role offers a six-figure salary range and a temporary cadence with mentorship and full benefits.

You will lead cross-functional teams, shape the technology roadmap, and ensure Azure guardrails are baked into the build. Responsibilities include sprint planning, delivering client-focused Swift features, and driving engineering excellence while scaling People Management

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering teams at the director level.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Experience across technology engagements requiring pattern recognition.
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams in a director capacity.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and roadmap discussions.
• Ship client-centric Swift features advancing the technology roadmap.
• Translate compliance rules into Azure guardrails in the build.
• Trace bugs across Swift services to the root cause line.
• Champion engineering excellence and continuous learning.
• Sketch and defend People Management architecture; implement it.
• Prototype PoC solutions for emerging tech requirements.
• Apply RabbitMQ and Swift to solve team challenges.
