We\'re seeking a visionary and hands-on Director of Engineering, AI Efficiency to build the internal AI ecosystem at MNTN. This role will be pivotal in designing and scaling AI-powered tools, resources, and workflows across all departments—from Operations to Customer Success to Sales to Product Marketing, Finance, and People. As a core member of the engineering leadership team, you\'ll report directly to the CTO and partner cross-functionally to shape how AI transforms the way we work.

What You\'ll Do

• Define and execute MNTN\'s internal AI strategy in partnership with the CTO, COO, and department leaders.
• Identify high-impact opportunities to apply AI across all teams—including Sales, Operations, Customer Success, Product Marketing, Finance, and People.
• Design, build, and deploy scalable AI tools, APIs, and applications to automate workflows and enhance internal decision-making.
• Develop internal platforms and infrastructure to support rapid experimentation and secure, scalable AI deployment.
• Empower cross-functional teams with intuitive AI-powered solutions that increase productivity and reduce manual effort.
• Build and lead a high-performing AI engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and technical excellence.
• Establish and maintain best practices for responsible AI development, data governance, and model performance evaluation.
• Stay on top of emerging technologies and incorporate cutting-edge advances in machine learning and LLMs into MNTN\'s internal systems.

What You\'ll Bring

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with 4+ years focused on AI/ML development.
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role managing technical teams.
• Strong experience with LLMs, NLP, generative AI, and MLOps frameworks.
• Proven track record of building internal tools or platforms with measurable business impact.
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
• Experience working cross-functionally with departments.
• Passion for building elegant, maintainable, and human-centered solutions using AI.
• Familiarity with enterprise SaaS environments or AdTech ecosystems.

• Experience with data privacy, security, and compliance in AI applications.
• Contributions to open-source AI projects or published research.
