• Establish consistent drawing standards and quality review procedures before work is released to manufacturing.

• Review engineering deliverables for accuracy, completeness, constructability and alignment with project requirements.
• Coordinate with project management and production to meet schedules, resolve technical challenges and support efficient fabrication.
• Oversee outsourced drawing work and ensure it meets company standards.
• Improve engineering processes to reduce errors, rework and production delays.
• Mentor experienced engineers, strengthen accountability and support their continued professional growth.

Millwork Recruiting Source is recruiting a Director of Engineering for an established custom architectural millwork manufacturer with approximately $18–$20 million in annual business. The company serves commercial markets including healthcare, hospitality, offices and stadiums.

This is a hands-on leadership position overseeing an experienced team of six engineers. The Director will set the department’s technical direction, strengthen engineering standards and workflow, and ensure accurate, production-ready information reaches the shop floor. This individual will also remain directly involved in engineering complex custom millwork projects.
