Minimum Requirements |

Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education | Preference for experience in higher education and local/federal/state government entity and/or prior experience working in a university or academic setting with knowledge of faculty and staff employment structures. Formal training in workplace investigations, mediation, or conflict resolution, including experience in managing high-profile or sensitive cases. Experience in drafting, revising, and implementing HR policies and procedures that align with best practices and legal standards. Strong track record of working collaboratively with legal counsel, risk management, faculty leadership, and administrative departments. Employment law certification, Juris Doctor (JD) degree, or relevant legal education and experience in employment law or related field. Employment mediator certification, EEODF Instructor Certification, Professional HR certifications such as SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or a related EEO/AA certification (e.g., AAAED Certified Affirmative Action Professional). |
