Job summary

Omni Montessori School in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Director of Elementary Programs to lead and develop the elementary program. The role includes coaching teachers, managing staff, and coordinating with specialists to ensure high-quality Montessori education.

The candidate will contribute to parent education, oversee after-school activities, and join the school’s leadership team to shape strategic direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and AMI Elementary Diploma or AMS Elementary I & II credential are required.
• Minimum of six years Montessori elementary classroom experience.
• Experience at both lower (6-9) and upper (9-12) elementary levels preferred.
• Previous administration experience preferred.
• Strong communications, interpersonal, organizational, leadership, management, and supervisory skills are essential.

Position Title:Director of Elementary Programs

Job Description:The Director of Elementary Programs provides coaching, management, oversight and support for the elementary faculty and staff. In addition, this individual is responsible for assisting with our parent education program, overseeing our after school offerings, and coordinating with outside specialists. Most importantly, the Director of Elementary Programs is an integral member of the school's leadership team.

Requirements:The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor’s Degree and an AMI Elementary Diploma or an AMS Elementary I and II credential. Position requires a minimum of six years of Montessori elementary classroom experience, preferably at both the lower (6-9) and upper (9-12) elementary levels. Previous administration experience preferred. Position requires excellent communications skills, and good interpersonal, organizational, leadership, management, and supervisory skills.
