Job summary

PLASTICS is seeking a Director of Education to lead the Association's education strategy, driving workforce development and member value. You will oversee courses, certificates, webinars, workshops, and events, aligning learning products with industry needs and revenue goals.

You will guide portfolio strategy, manage budget, and lead a small team with two direct reports in a hybrid work environment. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, adult learning, instructional design, organizational development, business administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in talent development, education, association management, or related discipline
• Demonstrated success developing and growing revenue-generating educational products, programs, or business lines including certificate programs, credentialing initiatives, or structured professional development pathways
• Experience working with subject matter experts, volunteer leaders, advisory committees, and industry partners on program development
• Proficiency managing learning management systems and educational technology platforms
• Deep understanding of talent development, adult learning principles, and instructional design methodologies

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development, delivery, and growth of a portfolio of educational products and learning experiences (online and in-person).
• Identify workforce and market needs and develop innovative learning solutions for plastics industry professionals.
• Lead portfolio strategy, product development, financial performance, and learning technologies; manage two direct reports.
